The Housing Market - Summer of 2007

Do you believe everything you read?  Me neither!  But statistics don't lie!  The real estate market in Ottawa is still strong ... and is expected to remain stable through 2007 and to the end of 2008.  "is it a good time to sell?"  Yes!  "Is it a good time to buy?"  Yes!  That's all any of us need to know for sure!  There are mitigating factors, of course.  And everyone seems concerned about the down turn  in the U.S. in recent months.  But here in Ottawa ... the forecast is excellent.

So if you are in the market to buy ... call me.  I'll supply you with a 'Buyer's Kit' and walk you through it .. step by step.  When you are checking out the public MLS system, and all of those Grapevine listings ... my best advice is ... don't even consider buying an unusual house, and always, always look for a home in the very best location you can afford.  Then, I believe you will make a good investment for your future.

No matter whether you want a brand new home directly from the builder, or a re-sale home, having a good Real Estate Representative on your side from day #1 is important.  As a buyer, please realize that you don't have to pay any fee unless the Seller is private and absolutely won't pay.  So it is well worth it to obtain professional guidance and advice.  Call me!
